DOT's hospitality ecosystem: what it includes and how you assemble it

Eight pieces covering dining room, kitchen, delivery, purchasing and loyalty on one data core. Take them all, or start with one.

DOT's hospitality ecosystem: what it includes and how you assemble it

In a restaurant, software doesn't break at the register: it breaks at the edges. In the delivery order someone retypes, in the waste that only shows up at month-end. An ecosystem is a set of pieces that already talk to each other, on one data core.

So what happens in the kitchen, at the register and in delivery is one story, not five systems to reconcile by hand.

The eight pieces

How you assemble it

You can take the full ecosystem or start with one piece. Neither is more correct: it depends on where you are today.

All at once makes sense when opening a new operation or replacing a system that's run out of road: everything arrives pre-integrated, with one party accountable.

Piece by piece is the common path. Start where it hurts most today; each piece runs on its own, and the next one arrives already connected, with no integration project in between.

  • If the pain is delivery on tablets → ChefCloudChefCloud.
  • If it's waste and dish cost → Smart OrderSmart Order.
  • If it's the queue at peak hours → AyHungryAyHungry.
  • If you can't tell which venue made margin → BiPyxisBiPyxis.

Already running an ERP? The ecosystem is built on SAP Business One, but it also integrates with whatever ERP your company already uses.

One dated note: from November 1, 2026, the electronic dispatch guides and invoices that back merchandise movement must include transport data. If you have a central kitchen or move supplies between venues, the system issuing the document has to capture those fields.

In short

  • Eight pieces on one data core, with SAP Business OneSAP Business One at the center.
  • Take them all, or start with one.
  • Each runs on its own; adding the next is not an integration project.

DOT Solutions has been implementing this ecosystem for over 18 years, with more than 300 clients across 8 Latin American countries.
